Hello Friends.

Last July, I flew to LA to write some songs and hang out with my friends JOHNNYSWIM, and it turned into a new EP that I am insanely proud of. It also features the incredible Penny and Sparrow, and a tribute to Tom Petty.

Hello friends. I recently gave a TED Talk on creativity and making music called, “Your Dreams Don’t Belong To You.”

"If you hold on too tightly to your dreams, without recognizing the communal and mutual nature of creativity, your work will never have significant cultural and peculiar impact in the world. I believe this truth applies to any creative act, but the lens of my creative experience is music. The dream was and is music. My music does not belong to me."

For the first time in years, Ellie and I wrote and recorded a song together and we want to share it with the world. “You & Me” was written and recorded about a month ago. Ellie and I love making music together, and it has been way too long since we have had the opportunity to do so. We also recorded a cover of one of our favorite songs, Sting’s “Fields of Gold.” We hope you enjoy these songs as much as we enjoyed recording them.
